On Memorial Day, May 26, 2008 in St. Augustine, Florida, Peg McIntire participated in a Peace Demonstration that she helped organize. Then on the night of May 29, Peg quietly passed away at home with her son Joe and his wife Sally McIntyre by her side.
Peg’s gentle spirit, strong commitment to peace, pixy looks and love of life captivated everyone and made her an inspiration to many.
Join us for this inspiring and fun interview with Peg McIntire done in 2005, when Peg was 95. After being out the night before enjoying music until midnight and then cooking the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had when I showed up at her door the next morning, Peg then agreed to being interviewed at her dining table.
